With the No. 10 Tommy Baldwin Racing (TBR) team sitting four points outside of a coveted top-35 position in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) Owner Point Standings, David Reutimann will wheel the No. 10 Accell Construction Chevrolet in the Auto Club 400, looking for a solid finish to put the team into the top-35. Dave Blaney will attempt to qualify for his fifth race this season in the No. 36 Tommy Baldwin Racing Chevrolet.
TBR AT CALIFORNIA – TBR made four starts at Auto Club Speedway (ACS) in the team’s two seasons of competition. TBR’s best start and finish came when Mike Bliss started from the 17th position and finished 22nd in the spring race in 2010.
TOP-35 IMPORTANCE – Following the Auto Club 400 this weekend, the NASCAR will utilize the 2012 top-35 in NSCS Owner Points to lock spots in the field beginning at Martinsville Speedway. Reutimann is currently 36th in NSCS Owner Points, four points outside of the top-35. Blaney is currently locked into the top-35 with a 25th-place spot.
