Tommy Baldwin Racing (TBR) has both NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) cars locked into the Goody’s Fast Relief 500 as the series switches to 2012 owner points this weekend. David Reutimann will wheel the No. 10 Accell Construction Chevrolet. Dave Blaney will return to the No. 36 Ollie’s Bargain Outlet Chevrolet to run 500 laps at Martinsville Speedway.
TBR AT MARTINSVILLE – Since the team’s inception in 2009, TBR made six starts at Martinsville Speedway. TBR’s best start was 29th with Blaney last spring. The team’s best finish came in 2011 when Blaney finished 23rd in the fall event.
LOCKED IN THE SHOW – Following the Auto Club 400 this weekend, NASCAR will utilize the 2012 top-35 in NSCS Owner Points to lock spots in the field beginning at Martinsville Speedway. Reutimann is currently 36th in NSCS Owner Points, four points outside of the top-35. Blaney is locked into the top-35 with a 25th-place spot.
LAST RACE RECAP: AUTO CLUB 400 – TBR locked both cars in the top-35 in NSCS Owner Points with the team’s finishes at Auto Club Speedway. Reutimann started 18thand made adjustments to the No. 10 Accell Construction Chevrolet to finish 27th in the rain-shortened race. Blaney started 34th in the No. 36 Chevrolet and worked on the handling of TBR’s first in-house chassis to finish in 33rd place.

REUTIMANN AT MARTINSVILLE – Reutimann made 10 starts at Martinsville Speedway in his NSCS career. The Zephyrhills, Fla., native made one top-five and three top-10 starts. His best finish was 15th in the 2011 spring event.
